Photographers need a variety of ways to capture the most important moments in people’s lives so, preparation is key! With the Godox Wedding Photographer Starter Kit, we set you up for success. Since wedding photography is our specialty, we have put together an amazing kit that will allow you to get started capturing those once in a lifetime moments! Once you have a great setup for wedding photography, there really is no limit on what you can do. The Godox Wedding Photographer Starter Kit is extremely versatile and will allow you to be able to shoot most any genre, easily.

What do you get?

We start with the Godox V1 Roundhead flash to utilize on camera for those candid moments when setting up an off camera light just isn’t feasible. The V1 is fantastic and produces a nice, even beam of light with nice fall off that can really make your images stand out. Added to the V1, we include the AK-R1 modifier kit. This allows you to have more control over the light and to bend it and shape it to your desire. The frosted dome attachment paired with the bounce card can really help make on camera portraits look amazing. There are gels, a grid, snoot and barn doors as well. If you like what you have seen produced with magmod, you will LOVE what you can produce with this setup.

But wait… there’s more…

Next, we add the incredible ad200 pro. This pocket sized 200watt second powered strobe is a staple in the wedding photographer community and one of the most used lights you will find anywhere. When you need that extra pop of power during the receptions or during formals, this little light makes things happen! Of course, you will want mounting brackets to be able to mount both lights (the v1 and the ad200 pro) to the included 13ft light stands (1 Heavy Duty Air Cushioned Stand and 1 Auto folding stand), so we are including 2 of the godox S brackets as well. These brackets will also allow you to utilize any bowens mount modifiers or umbrellas with your lights.

For those family portraits, we are including one of our ‘window light’ series of modifiers, the 24×36 K-Pop Softbox. This softbox opens and closes utilizing an umbrella style mechanism making setup and break down a breeze. It is doubly diffused for absolutely beautiful light that looks like the light coming in through a northern facing window.

Sometimes, a small reflective umbrella is one of the best modifiers you could want to use. These come in very handy on wedding day. Because of that, we are also including a 40in black and white reflective umbrella to give you more versatility. And finally, we are including the Godox X Pro controller. This will mount on your camera allowing you to have full control over all of your lights when they are off camera.
