STORIES WITH LIGHT
Advanced Lighting Seminar
Special Edition | Cosplay
This special edition seminar is a creative experience designed to merge a mini workshop with a photo walk. (And it’s a great way to experience a taste of what’s offered at the full seminars for just a few hours!)
Cosplayers provide a unique opportunity to explore creative lighting, narrative photography, and open up a whole new world of photographic opportunities. You have the ultimate freedom to use many different lighting and photography techniques to bring a character to life!
Join Westcott Top Pro Julie Gayler and creative portrait photographer Kel Kitch for an opportunity designed to inspire your lighting and creativity in new ways.
After an educational demonstration of setup from start to finish, you will be able to use what you’ve learned on your own to create something for your portfolio! It’s a win-win!
Topics covered will include:
- Set and lighting design to elevate character expression
- Posing and coaching prompts for dynamic portraits
- Using creative lighting to tell a story (using grids, gels and atmosphere aerosol)
- 1:1 time creating with the model on two sets
We supply the models, props, sets, lighting and universal lighting controller, along with creative options and 1:1 guidance to get the results YOU want with each set. You will be able to make changes to the lighting and set during your shoot time.
All you need to bring is your camera and lenses and be ready to have fun and create!
